leverage and scale

My passion for this profession began with leveraging technology to scale the delivery of meaningful information. I entered the field by designing digital solutions to replace traditional one-on-one, hour-long in-person courses. My first project focused on delivering health-related information through a carefully designed learning module that combined technology with learning psychology. This scalable solution has now been viewed over 25,000 times, achieving the same impact as 3,125 working days—but at a fraction of the cost, time, and effort.

This experience revealed the true power of effective information delivery. Every learning experience must be custom-tailored through a deep understanding of learning psychology and learner demographics. Key elements like self-navigation, timing, and relevance are foundational learning principles I incorporate into every design.

By combining Learning and Development expertise with Project Management strategies and productivity frameworks such as Lean 5S and DMAIC, I consistently deliver successful, impactful solutions. My strong soft skills allow me to bridge silos and foster collaboration, ensuring seamless execution of training initiatives.

I also recognize that selecting the right type of training for effective knowledge and skill transfer is both an art and a science. Teaching someone to ride a bike through a manual is far less effective than guiding them through key principles followed by hands-on practice. Similarly, creating an overly interactive course for general awareness can overwhelm learners and hinder engagement.

Have you ever wondered why employees don’t always apply what they know? The answer often lies in a lack of conviction, not knowledge. Simulating real-world context and consequences has been proven to drive behavior change. For example, everyone knows not to drive 40 mph in a 30 mph zone—but truly committing to that behavior often requires experiencing the consequences. High-stakes safety and compliance training are most effective when they incorporate contextual simulations that inspire lasting behavioral change.

program development and tracking

Program development and implementation of enterprise scale tracking.

Employee retirement and turnover are key problems that many organizations face in today's market.  My experience in Learning and Development includes creating and implementing enterprise scale programs for issues such as compliance reporting, employee development, and mission critical employee tracking.  These programs required collaboration with Director level stakeholders and have been implemented enterprise wide to reduce single points of failure and provide a robust organizational health during times of employee turnover.
